Summer Street Sweeping Begins July 10

On Monday, July 10, the DPW will begin its summer street sweeping pass through Town, which is expected to take about eight weeks to complete.

The work will begin in Leaf Collection Zone 1 on the north side (in the vicinity of North Avenue and Dudley Avenue), and in Zone 6 on the south side (in the vicinity of South Avenue and Scotch Plains Avenue).

Residents are asked to remove all cars from the streets where the sweepers are working so that the stormwater drains can be accessed to help avoid clogging and drainage issues.
