Street Sweeping to Begin July 6

The Department of Public Works will begin its summer street sweeping pass through Town on Tuesday, July 6, which is expected to take about eight weeks to complete.

The work is scheduled to begin in Leaf Collection Zone 1 on the north side (starting on Dudley Avenue and the surrounding streets), and in Zone 7 on the south side (starting on Scotch Plains Avenue and the surrounding streets).

Residents are asked to remove all cars from the streets where the sweepers are working so that the stormwater drains can be accessed to help avoid clogging and drainage issues.
