Prospect Street Paving Schedule

Prospect Street will be resurfaced this week, with milling to take place on Tuesday, September 14 and Wednesday, September 15, followed by paving on Thursday and Friday.

Please be advised that, due to road resurfacing work on Prospect Street, residents should expect partial road closures and detours Tuesday through Friday of this week. There will also be no parking on Prospect during this time. The Westfield Police Department will be assisting in the area of Franklin School, and residents are asked to allow extra travel time during school drop off and pick up hours.

This project is funded through the New Jersey State Transportation and Trust Fund Grant. Although the Town planned for this work to take place in the summer months to avoid impacting the school population, approvals from the state were not granted in a timeframe that allowed the work to begin earlier. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we thank residents for their patience.
