School / Day Care Center Visit Request

Would you like a fire truck to visit your school or day care center?

We will make a short presentation showing some of the equipment that is carried on the apparatus (for outdoor presentations), explaining the functions of the fire department, and answering any questions you may have.

Presentations can be done indoors or outdoors (weather permitting). The presentation will consist of a fire safety talk, a demonstration of a fireman in full gear, Stop-drop-and-roll, fire evacuation plans, and general fire safety.

Group photos will be allowed with the children in front of the fire apparatus; however, we ask that you explain to the children that they will not be allowed to climb on the fire apparatus; the apparatus is always in full service and may have to respond quickly in the event of a fire call.
